This Discharge Notice confirms that the client has completed their treatment/session at Letz Drip. The purpose of this form is to document the client’s condition at discharge, provide follow-up advice if required, and ensure all relevant information has been communicated clearly.

A: Post-Treatment Care

Please follow these instructions carefully after your IV drip treatment:

• Keep the dressing on the IV site for 30–60 minutes after treatment.
• Keep the area clean, dry, and covered; do not rub or scratch the site.
• Mild tenderness, redness, or bruising at the insertion site is normal and should resolve within a few days.
• Drink plenty of water for the rest of the day to support hydration and nutrient absorption.
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, smoking, or strenuous exercise for the next 24 hours.
• If bruising occurs, apply a clean cold compress for a few minutes several times a day.
• Do not apply lotions, creams, or oils to the IV site until it is fully healed.
• Rest if you feel light-headed or tired after treatment.

B. Normal Side Effects

You may experience the following mild effects:

• Small bruise or tenderness at the IV site
• Temporary chill or feeling cold during/after infusion
• Slight fatigue or mild headache
These are generally short-lived and resolve without intervention.

C. When to Seek Medical Advice

Please contact the clinic immediately or seek urgent medical attention if you experience:

• Redness, swelling, or increasing pain at the IV site
• Warmth, discharge, or streaking around the area
• Fever, chills, or feeling unwell
• Dizziness, chest pain, or shortness of breath
• Rash, itching, or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
If symptoms are severe, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.

D. Follow-Up & Next Appointment

• Only schedule your next IV drip session if you are feeling well.
• Inform your practitioner of any new health conditions, medications, or allergies before your next visit.
• Keep this instruction sheet for your records and refer to it if you have any concerns.
